Welcome to CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Community Health Plan Maryland!

In October 2020, we announced our purchase of University of Maryland Health Partners, Inc. (UM Health Partners), a HealthChoice Managed Care Organization. UM Health Partners is now known as CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Community Health Plan Maryland or CareFirst CHPMD.

Your health plan will not be affected by this change. You will still receive quality care through the CareFirst CHPMD benefits and provider network. And we will continue to help you get the care you need.
